The year 2016 has been full of vehicle debuts and the 2017 Honda CR-V is the latest addition. Honda’s stunning new crossover SUV just made its debut in Detroit in mid-October to the surprise of many. 2017 Honda CR-V engine specs
Honda announced that the 2017 Honda CR-V could arrive in showrooms as early as Thanksgiving or by the end of the year. The automaker also revealed that the new crossover is packed with many new features and capabilities. To start, the 2017 Honda CR-V is 1.2 inches longer and 1.4 inches taller and wider. It also has a 1.6-inch gain between the wheels. In total, that gives the 2017 Honda CR-V 39.2 cubic feet of total cargo space.
The new 2017 Honda CR-V is also now available with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, but will also carry over the 2016 model’s 2.4-liter four-cylinder version. Drivers can expect 190 horses and 179 lb-ft of torque from the 1.5-liter and 184 horses and 180 lb-ft of torque from the 2.4-liter version.
In addition to the updates under the hood and to the body frame, the 2017 Honda CR-V is also very different inside. Truly, it’s more spacious and luxurious than ever before. Those who are familiar with the 2016 Honda CR-V will notice the 2017 model’s slimmer A-pillar and streamlined center console. There is also a new physical volume control button and two screens for the instrument panel with a seven-inch touchscreen in the middle. The 2017 Honda CR-V is also equipped with a variety of high-tech features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
