Introducing the brand new 2017 Honda Civic Si! It’s one of the newest additions to the Honda lineup and enters the new year with a fresh face, new technologies and even more power under the hood. The Si has always been the performance-focused or “sport” model in the Honda Civic lineup and the 2017 model is no different. However, this time the 2017 Honda Civic Si will be followed by the new 2017 Honda Civic Type R hatchback to the North American market. In fact, this is the first time the Type R will be available in North America.

Honda revealed the new 2017 Civic Si coupe and sedan in a Youtube video on April 6 and has announced that the new model will go on sale in May of this year. The 2017 Honda Civic Type R is expected to go on sale not long after.

Will the 2017 Honda Civic Si have Apple CarPlay?

Yes! The new Civic Si will be available with a variety of premium features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Inside the cabin the 2017 Honda Civic Si will be available with red-stitched seats, a 7-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, remote engine start, rain-sensing front wipers and much more.

Honda’s new Civic Si also comes with new performance-focused technologies, including new two-mode driver selector with Normal and Sport settings. There is also a new variable-ratio electric power steering setup, adaptive dampers, helical-type limited-slip differential, more rigid chassis and larger front brakes. Aluminum pedals, an aluminum and leather shift knob, matching red stitching on the doors, steering wheel and shifter boot are other premium additions to the powerful 2017 Honda Civic Si.
