What is the 2017 Honda Civic Si horsepower
Introducing the new 2017 Honda Civic Si! The sporty new model is expected to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, November 14-17. It’s during the show that we anticipate Honda will announce a rough estimate of when drivers can expect the see the new model in stores and will show off the Si’s new look and capabilities. In fact, the 2017 Honda Civic Si’s powerful new engine is likely to be a highlight of the discussions.
Will the 2017 Honda Civic Si have a turbo engine?
There is nothing quite like the power and precision of a turbocharged engine. Not only will the 2017 Honda Civic Type R be receiving one, but so will the 2017 Honda Civic Si model. In fact, it’s anticipated that both models will come equipped with a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. With that said, expect the 2017 Honda Civic Si model’s to be tuned down a bit from the Type R’s raging 300 horses to more like 200-230 horses.
2017 Honda Civic Si sedan release date
Previously, Honda has sold a coupe and sedan version of the Honda Civic Si and we expect this year will be no different. Spy shots of the 2017 Honda Civic Si have only captured glimpses at the coupe model, so it’s unclear what the sedan model will look like. We can only assume that it will be shaped after the 2017 Honda Civic sedan and coupe. What is also unclear is if the 2017 Honda Civic Si coupe and sedan will be sold at the same time or if Honda will debut one first and then release the other in a few months, similar to what the brand did with the 2017 Honda Civic lineup. Only time will tell!
